Joint Council on International Children's Services This is the largest and oldest licensed nonprofit international-adoption organizations in the world. The Web site lists updates by country. Lutheran Adoption Network International and domestic adoptions for families of all faiths. National Adoption Center Hosts a list of waiting children from the nation's foster-care system and answers questions about the adoption process. National Council for Adoption NCFA is a research education, and advocacy organization. Its site answers many questions about adoption. North American Council on Adoptable Children NACAC is an organization committed to meeting the needs of waiting children and the families who adopt them.
